Notice
(a) Notice to Teams Invited to Overseas Regional Presentations
- Please arrive ten minutes prior to your scheduled presentation for registration and audio/video preparation.
- Please bring a school identification card or government photo document to verify your high school status and identity.
- A projection screen will be available.
- An overhead projector for transparencies will be available.
- No writing instruments will be available.
- ALCD projector will be available for computer hook-up.
- The organizer does not provide computer.
- If you plan to bring a computer to your presentation, you are advised to have a set of overhead transparencies as back-up. We could not guarantee compatibility of your computer and our projector.
- Each team has 20 minutes of presentation and up to 10 minutes of Q&A time with a panel of professors.
- You are advised to use your time to highlight the origin of your issues, the key results and the key techniques for solving your problems.
- Read the selection criteria online prior to preparing your presentation.
- Presentations are open to the students, teachers and mentors of all invited teams. With prior agreement of the organizers, up to two family members of each invited student may attend. Otherwise, the presentation is not open to the public.
- Only students will present. Teachers and mentors may attend in the audience.
- The audience should remain silent during any presentation. In particular, the audience is not allowed to pose comments and/or questions to the presenters or panelists during presentation and panelists Q&A time.
- Please turn off your cellular phones during your or others¡¯ presentations.
- The organizers reserve the right to exclude any individuals from the presentations.
- Disruptive audience may be disqualified from any honor or prize of the YHMA program.
